The user no longer has to be in an active ERP session to receive alerts, but can also receive them via email, notifications, or SMS.

       

      The configuration of these notifications requires no technical programming. Through the Orchestrator Studio you can centralize the creation and configuration of notifications to which users can then subscribe.

      Notifications can range from simple notifications with links to applications, through notifications linked to standard or customized Watchlists, and ending with Orchestration-based Notifications where the possibilities are endless.

      Oracle is promoting and betting on the use of notifications and this can be seen in the latest release of tools 9.2.3 where a Notification Message Center and an E1 page My Worklist that facilitates the user the management of these notifications are presented.
