With the latest update to Enterprise Automation, the Process Modeler tool expands its capabilities by incorporating the management of Purchase Requisitions, in addition to the already existing Procure to Pay (P2P) cycle management.

This functionality allows both processes to be addressed together, providing an interconnected view, unlike the previous isolated management.

It improves real-time visibility and control over the entire procurement flow, enabling the visualization of metrics and KPIs, as well as identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies that may exist at any stage of the process.

2.1 Enterprise Automation for Production Orders

The other major update focuses on Manufacturing, with the Enterprise Automation for Production Orders to Cost Update feature.

This enhancement gives manufacturing teams a clearer picture of how everything is running. This new EnterpriseOne page provides:

• Easy access to the right applications throughout the production process.
• Real-time alerts for issues like material shortages or delays in production.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to help track progress and ensure on-time work order completion.

By simplifying the Production Order to Cost Update flow, this update helps different teams, from production to accounting, work better together, quickly detecting potential issues and making sure everything moves along perfectly.

3.1 Enterprise Automation – Enable Maintenance and Service Work Order Ledger

With the latest update to Enterprise Automation, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne introduces a significant enhancement by allowing organizations to access a comprehensive history of all changes made to maintenance and service work orders through the Work Order Master Ledger.

This functionality allows organizations to:

• Meet regulatory and audit requirements.
• Establish a single source of truth, ensuring data reliability and accuracy.
• Improve transparency and accountability by tracking every modification in maintenance operations.

Additionally, this enhancement lays the foundation for the future implementation of the Maintenance Work Order Process Template, which will allow organizations to analyze and optimize their maintenance work order processes using the Enterprise Process Modeler.

4.1 Brazil – Tax Reform: Implementation of the Simplified Dual VAT Regime

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne incorporates support for Brazil's new tax system, a result of the fiscal reform that will be gradually implemented between 2026 and 2033. This reform unifies five existing taxes (PIS, COFINS, IPI, ICMS, and ISS) into a simplified dual VAT system.

The new regime introduces two taxes differentiated by jurisdiction:

• CBS (Contribution on Goods and Services) at the federal level.
• IBS (Tax on Goods and Services) at the state and municipal levels.

With this enhancement, JD Edwards reaffirms its commitment to staying aligned with legislative and regulatory changes, providing its clients with the necessary tools to adapt swiftly and comply with the new tax regulations in Brazil.
