What are the upgrades?
1.1 Advances in Orchestrator and User Experience
May Release 24 brings exciting enhancements to both Orchestrator and user experience. These updates focus on providing greater control over connector responses, making it easier to manage and view data, as well as improving accessibility and convenience for users when interacting with attachments.
The following is a summary of these enhancements:
- Return connector response status as a variable: Optimizes the handling of connector responses by assigning the returned HTTP status code to an orchestrator variable.
- Ability to reorder the output of data requests and forms: Allows rearranging elements in the arrays returned by the different steps, providing greater control over the output of the orchestration.
- Reorder orchestrator entries: Facilitates the integration of orchestrations with user interfaces or third-party systems when reordering entries.
- Orchestration variable for max records in form and data requests: Enhances the max records option in orchestrator form and data requests by allowing a variable number of rows to be returned.
- Include control information in the orchestrator form service exception response: Provides additional information in the error exception response on form service requests, making it easier to identify and correct errors.
- Orchestrator: Send a File without a Multipart Request: Simplifies sending files to external REST APIs, either as a multipart request or as a single-part request.
- EnterpriseOne Pages and Forms Extensions: Rename Orchestrations Entries: Allows you to rename orchestration entries from EnterpriseOne form pages and extensions, improving identification and understanding for users.
- Threshold ascending or descending in tracking lists: Adds the ability to specify ascending or descending tracking criteria.
- Orchestration variable for report queue: Improves flexibility in generating and managing reports from EnterpriseOne by allowing the job queue to be passed as a variable to an orchestration report step.
- Workflow Monitoring: Extends who can benefit from Workflow Monitor by viewing the status and progress of workflows.
- Authentication for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Services: Extends EnterpriseOne Orchestrator's supported authentication mechanisms to call external services provided by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- View attachments in PDF format with one click: Provides a smoother user experience by viewing attachments in PDF format without the need to first download the file.
- View attachments within composite applications: Simplifies the viewing of attachments by providing a media object viewer panel in a form layout.

This feature standardizes the location of third-party files and modifies Server Manager to retain those files after tools component changes on the Enterprise Server.
2.4 Server Manager – R24 Additional APIs
This feature introduces additional external REST API exposure for Server Manager, enabling the provision and manipulation of Java and JDBC versions across various instance types, as well as messaging and termination of user sessions.
2.5 User Access and Application Usage Tracking
Customers now benefit from enhanced visibility into user access and application usage, empowering them to ensure that users possess appropriate roles and authority across environments and modules.
