1.1 Ability to View Details of Vouchers Associated with Purchase Orders from Account Ledger Program

We will be able to quickly find the details of a voucher associated with a purchase order, or even its reversal, directly from the account ledger program.

1.2 Flexibility in Defining Default Document Type for Journal Entry

The Journal Entry program has been enhanced with a processing option that enables users to set the default document type for Journal entries.

This allows us to add a new level of analysis by being able to choose different document types.

1.3 Improved Asset Cost Analysis

JD Edwards surprises us in this Release with a new program for the review of the Asset costs.

We will have real-time information from the asset module, even from entries that are not yet posted in GL.

We will be able to obtain a report that shows the netbook value, the revenue earned, and the ownership cost of an asset from the date of its inception to the current date. By analyzing this data, we can identify assets with high maintenance costs, and compare the costs with the useful life of the asset. This makes it quick and easy to see whether it is more efficient to maintain, repair, or replace an asset.

1.4 Enhancement in VAT reports for some specific countries

As part of its commitment to continuous improvement and adaptation to all countries in which JD Edwards is active, several enhancements have been made to VAT reporting:

France

In France, there are two categories of VAT: goods and services. VAT on invoices for goods should be reported on the voucher date regardless of payment status, while invoices for services are reported on the date they are paid.

JD Edwards introduces a new French VAT Report to accommodate both scenarios. The new report complies with the legal requirement for the goods VAT category. You can use this new report to print VAT for both goods and services.

Peru

According to the Peru Tax Authority (SUNAT), the new VAT Purchasing report must include the Period, Unique Operation Code, and Correlative number of the accounting entry identified in field 2 when the Unique Operation Code (CUO) is used. The JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system is updated to stay compliant with this regulation.

Argentina

The JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system is modified to comply with RG715 for VAT as per the specifications provided by AFIP, which include Perception code, CUIT (Tax ID), NRO COMPROBANTE (Invoice number), IMPORTE RETENCION (Withholding amount).

2.1 "Enterprise Automation": From Ordering to Receiving

"Enterprise Automation allows us to visualize in one screen (JDE pages) graphically and simply the screens related to purchases, from the creation of the request to the reception of the purchase. This allows us to have all the crucial information at the same point, optimizing search time.

2.2 Price Adjustment Query

Among the new improvements, a new screen has been included from which price adjustments can be checked without having to create a purchase order. This way, the different options can be analyzed, and the best one can be selected by simply indicating the item and the quantity to be purchased.

2.3 Avoid opening a requisition order when the purchase order line is canceled during reception

Currently, when a purchase order with option “9- Cancel purchase order line” is received, it opens a new request. With this improvement, the generation of a requisition for these cases is avoided.

2.4 Volume-based purchase recommendations

When a new purchase order is entered, the system will dynamically identify all purchase options to reduce the cost of the item and notify the user to proceed to increase the quantity, obtaining a better discount on the item. This makes the purchasing process even more efficient and reduces unnecessary costs.

3.1 Autocomplete safety stock value

• Sales history
• Specific days of demand
• Leadtime

3.2 Allowing all stock to be retained from certain locations

It will be possible to set specific transactions only for the identified locations. The rest will be retained independently of the batch.

Additionally, this functionality will have priority over the batch status, making this process more optimized and faster.

4.1  “Enterprise Automation”: Shipping

5.1 Attach Routes to service or equipment work orders from the ETO Workbench

This process allows you to directly attach the production/work routes from the work screen with orders. This eliminates additional steps in which this process is currently performed.
